Dr. Sushil Kulkarni,

Dr. Sushil Kulkarni has a multi-disciplinary academic and research background with specialization in Data Science and its allied areas like Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, deep learning and database systems.
He has a Master’s degree in Mathematics from University of Mumbai and Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Mumbai. He has around thirty five years of teaching experience in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science. He previously worked in Jai Hind College, Autonomous as Associate Professor and Head of Mathematics Department for thirty two years. He was an honorary visiting faculty of Computer Science at the University of Mumbai for twenty years. He was also briefly associated with ICT.
Dr. Sushil Kulkarni has a proven track record in applying machine learning and related tools and techniques in different fields like business, social sciences, biological sciences, computational Mathematics. This has resulted in publishing around 30 + research papers in Journals/ Conferences
He is in the editorial board of three international Journals. He has been invited to deliver talks in five international conferences and more than twenty national conferences/ workshops. He continues to be a Ph.D. guide in Computer Science at University of Mumbai.
He has been part of the Board of Studies in subjects like Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science of more than ten leading autonomous institutions and universities which includes University of Mumbai.
To create learned, versatile and confident mathematicians, applied statisticians, data analysts and Artificial Intelligence practitioners who are employable and who have developed a love for Mathematics and Statistics and its innumerable areas of application in real world.
We are a new School of Mathematics, Applied Statistics & Analytics with a mission to teach Mathematics and Statistics in their purest form along with disciplines’ new age derivatives encompassing a host of enabling technologies such as use of computers, animations, data visualizations simulations and other tools to make the learning of mathematics and statistics exciting.
