Step - 1) Essay Writing : 500-words essay in three paragraph as below;
Paragraph 1. Highlight your interest in Mathematics.
Paragraph 2. Highlight why you would like to join School of Mathematical Sciences, NMIMS.
Paragraph 3. Highlight how you think you will benefit from this program B.Sc. Mathematics (Hons.)- 2020.
Essay should not be more than 500 words in total of all three paragraph. Essay can include images. The file of essay may be in rtf, pdf, txt or word format. This file has to be e-mailed on or before 15th June 2020 to soms.admission@gmail.com
Step - 2) Objective type test -
Mock test date : 16th June 2020.
Final/actual Test date : 17th June 2020.
Students will receive zoom link from email id shikha.gaur@nmims.edu on 16th june around 11:00 a.m inviting to join the mock test. Duration of Mock test will be
2 :00 pm to 4:00 p.m.
Similarly, students will receive zoom link from same email id shikha.gaur@nmims.edu on 17th June around 11:00 a.m inviting to join the final/actual Test. Final/ actual test will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 p.m.
The examination will be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration.
The entrance exam will be based on Class XII Mathematics only. Topics will include Numbers, Algebra, Geometry. Basic Calculus, Set and functions, Statistics and related subjects.
As this is online test, you can give your test from your residence on computer system/ laptop or mobile and device must have camera and mike.
